We ultimately chose to change systems because our current system had become obsolete and will no longer be supported. We knew it was not going to be in place forever, which meant we needed to look at changing our ERP.
I like working with ERP Advisors Group because they have experience that we do not possess. They knew what questions to ask and were always willing to address issues, answer questions, or provide explanations to ensure they were understood by all parties and were getting the right answers from our team. Overall, I thought the process went really well. Zach asked good questions. He led various personnel through interviews, and put together a comprehensive document based on the conversations and interviews. I felt it was a good exercise to have team members interviewed. We all learned from that process. It can be difficult to keep so many people happy and on the same page during a project like this, but EAG has done a great job keeping everyone organized and involved.
I would recommend ERP Advisors Group to colleagues. This is a huge undertaking for us, and I believe we are better prepared to make a decision and implement the solution thanks to guidance from EAG. But Shawn saw that clients were struggling during their implementations, even though they selected the right software. The firm’s partners were too averse to the risk of losing tax and audit business from a risky implementation. Thus, ERP Advisors Group was born with the purpose to provide Client-Side Implementation Services.
