We chose a new system because our legacy HCM software was at the end of its lifecycle. Our goal was to consolidate disparate applications and centralize records to track, report, and manage information.
During our preliminary software selection phase, the stages of demonstrations with vendors made a lot of sense. We were introduced to solutions we would not have known about otherwise and the demos helped us do a real deep dive to get more perspective on the candidates. Ultimately, they helped us narrow our list down to 2 or 3 finalists.
Once the implementation phase started, ERP Advisors Group helped monitor the process from a distance. But when our project took a turn and reached the triage phase, they stepped back in and were a very important resource for us. They rallied the troops and offered a helping hand by visiting our stores and acting as a set of ears to document information. They also conducted an onsite training class with our ambassadors. Our consultant, Carly, was wonderful. Her role became more challenging because of the extent of communication with the vendor that became necessary, but she did a great job.
ERP Advisors Group understood Arc Thrift’s unique environment and workforce, so they were able to assist with the policies and design features this required. Following the implementation, we have already achieved new levels of potential by getting off our old system and onto a solution that provides an integrated source of records. We also have much more visibility into things, but we hope to have better features to track payroll and benefits further down the road.
Overall, I am a big fan of ERP Advisors Group and would 100% recommend them to other businesses. We appreciate having a third party who has overseen many other ERP projects and has a process designed to provide extensive due diligence. They are an invaluable resource for software selection and implementation, and it was great to have their partnership. I trust the firm and I trust the process.

ERP Advisors Group was founded by Shawn Windle in 2010. He helped develop the technology practice at the largest accounting firm in Denver from 2004 - 2010 by offering Needs Analysis and Selection projects. But Shawn saw that clients were struggling during their implementations, even though they selected the right software. The firm’s partners were too averse to the risk of losing tax and audit business from a risky implementation. Thus, ERP Advisors Group was born with the purpose to provide Client-Side Implementation Services.
We take responsibility for the decisions we help our clients make during the Selection phase by staying on for their implementation, ensuring they go live with their new software.
