Hi and welcome to episode 108 of The ERP Minute. I am your host, Rebekah McCabe.
This week was packed full of product enhancements from vendors across the market.
Blackbaud began the week by announcing the development of Impact Edge, a new AI-powered, social impact reporting and storytelling solution for corporate social responsibility (CSR) and social impact teams of all sizes. This solution leverages responsible generative AI to empower corporate impact professionals to easily create a compelling picture of their organization’s social impact using data captured from their employee engagement programs, philanthropic programs, educational initiatives, and other trusted external data sources. This is yet another example of how AI is contributing to business growth and the value that technology can deliver.
Infor then announced its Infor Enterprise Automation solution, a set of Infor Operating Service (Infor OS) multi-tenant cloud services, built on Amazon Web Services, designed to help companies rapidly scale automation across their organizations by connecting data integration, AI/ML, and robotic process automation (RPA) capabilities into a single platform. These enhancements empower even greater growth possibilities for Infor ERP and will assist customers in reaching their goals faster, at lower costs and risks to their businesses.
Next, Acumatica announced the availability of a new set of innovative features and capabilities comprising the company’s latest product update, Acumatica 2023 R2. A highlight of the release is Acumatica Payments, an integrated payment processing solution, to enhance cash flow and streamline payment processes by providing credit card and ACH processing with improved reconciliation, mobile portal payments, click-to-pay, and gift cards. Other enhancements include connecting to Amazon’s Seller Central marketplace, Shopify’s new B2B eCommerce functionalities, new web endpoints for Acumatica’s Product Configurator, a consolidated account reconciliation retainage invoicing feature, and a new Manage Sales Allocations screen. All of these enhancements build upon Acumatica’s core functionality to extend efficiency and productivity in the market.
QAD followed the trend, releasing the latest enhancements to its comprehensive suite of Adaptive Applications. Product enhancements within the release include advancing process intelligence and the QAD Redzone Connected Workforce integration, continued support for compliance processes with QAD eDocument Compliance, and ethical supply chains with baseline questionnaires through QAD Supplier Relationship Management. QAD continues to provide specialized enhancements to its product based on the needs of its customer base and we expect this functionality to continuously improve for companies looking to “adapt” in ever-changing environments.
Finally, ECI closed out the week, announcing the integration of its EvolutionX, a B2B e-commerce platform, with its Red Falcon ERP, a business management and e-commerce software. For SMB supplies dealers, the integration offers a fully customizable business tool with real-time data while improving the online shopping experience for their customers. This will be a great asset for businesses looking to enhance the user experience while truly realizing the value of their data with ECI.
