Hi and welcome to episode 11 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host Ashley Glasgow.
ServiceNow is expanding beyond its core service management processes through a new strategic partnership with Celonis. The two companies will work together to accelerate digital transformation capabilities for businesses.
QAD just announced new updates for its Adaptive Applications portfolio. We expect to see more announcements like this one now that Thoma Bravo has not only completed its acquisition of QAD but appears to be making progress toward increasing product-to-market offerings.
In acquisition news, Salesforce completed the acquisition of LevelJump, a sales enablement and readiness solution. Salesforce is looking to go deeper into their primary offerings to sales teams.
GoProposal was just acquired by Sage in an effort to provide innovation to accounting partners amid everchanging cloud advancements. It appears that Sage is trying to get more traction with front office processes that will work cohesively with the back-office software that Sage is known for.
Lastly, another example of vendors acquiring niche software solutions, Epicor is set to acquire CBC Computer Systems and its Décor Fusion point-of-sale software. This acquisition will result in enhanced CRM capabilities, advanced inventory management features, and a streamlined sales and purchase order processing.
