Hi and welcome to episode 146 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host, Rebekah McCabe.
ECI Software Solutions began the week by announcing it has completed the acquisition of two residential home construction software business units from MiTek, a global company focused on providing integrated software, services, engineered products, and automated solutions for the building industry. The acquired businesses include BuilderMT, a turnkey workflow management suite for home builders, and Sales Simplicity, a CRM and sales automation software for single-family, semi-custom, and custom home builders. These acquisitions extend the value of ECI to its existing construction and adjacent clients by also delivering deeper industry functionality.
Then, Sage announced the launch of Sage for Specialty Contractors, an end-to-end native-cloud construction suite built to handle the complexities specialty contractors face every day. Sage for Specialty Contractors includes construction management, field service operations, and construction financials. With so many vendors looking to cater to the construction industry, it makes sense for Sage to focus on solutions meant to deliver to specialty contractors, advancing its preexisting construction offerings.
Finally, Unit4 announced the go-live of Success4U, the company’s flexible and outcome-driven model for Unit4 ERPx, Unit4 FP&A, and Unit4 Financials. It is designed to support net-new and existing customers through every stage of modernizing and expanding the benefits of their Unit4 ERP investment. The initial standardized Success Outcomes focus on areas including optimizing project management and improving project billability, enhancing reporting capabilities, providing simple and structured planning processes, and much more. Tools like this will empower customers to realize value more quickly and with less strain on business as usual.
