As we continue to charge into 2025, major AI announcements came from Epicor, Oracle, and Microsoft.
First, Epicor launched Epicor Prism, a network of vertical AI agents built specifically for the supply chain industries. Through intuitive, AI-driven conversational ERP, Epicor Prism simplifies the way businesses and their workers access answers and recommendations to complex business needs and enables organizations to take faster action. Epicor Prism is initially available to be integrated with Epicor Kinetic, part of Epicor Industry ERP Cloud.
Then, Oracle and Adarga, a leader in AI-driven information intelligence, announced they are partnering to bring Adarga’s Vantage software to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle’s distributed cloud. Together, they will help defense and security organizations deliver mission-critical data and insights to the UK and its allies. Adarga Vantage provides analysts, planners, and commanders with the ability to extract, contextualize, and connect information drawn from millions of internal and external sources in over 75 languages, to enhance defense and security operations.
Finally, Microsoft and Pearson, the world’s lifelong learning company, announced a strategic collaboration on Tuesday to help address one of the top challenges facing organizations globally: skilling for the era of AI. The partnership will focus on providing employers, workers, and learners with new AI-powered products and services to help prepare the current and future workforce across industries for the era of work in an AI-driven economy. The two will collaborate to deliver personalized learning at scale, innovative collaboration and go to market opportunities, investments in technology driven careers, and powering the Pearson workforce.
AI continues to engulf the ERP market, with vendors taking various approaches to deliver in their spaces. Through revolutionary AI Agents, protected AI solutions for traditionally high security industries, and investments in education, vendors are going to transform the way we do business in 2025.
To round out the week, Qlik announced the acquisition of Upsolver, a pioneer in real-time data streaming and Apache Iceberg optimization. The acquisition combines Upsolver’s real-time data ingestion to Iceberg and adaptive optimization with Qlik’s end-to-end data platform, enabling organizations to access data faster, optimize their data estate, reduce costs, and unlock AI-driven insights. Activities like this from Qlik will enable their customers for growth through access to scalable solutions that connect users to the totality of their data and analytical tools.
