Hi and welcome to episode 176 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host, Rebekah McCabe.

The week began with financial results from Workday and Planful.

First, Workday announced its results for the fiscal 2025 fourth quarter and full year ended January 31st, 2025. For the fourth quarter, total revenues were $2.2 billion, an increase of 15% from the fourth quarter of fiscal 2024. Subscription revenues were $2.04 billion, an increase of 15.9% from the same period last year. For the full year, total revenues were $8.45 billion, an increase of 16.4% from fiscal 2024. Subscription revenues were $7.72 billion, an increase of 16.9% from the prior year.

Then, Planful achieved record-breaking bookings in 2024, surpassing its previous annual high and reinforcing its strong growth trajectory. Planful increased its global partner community by 30% and its total workforce by 35%. The company also added over 240 new customers.

These results further support the continued need for a variety of solutions in not just ERP, but the broader software space. We expect to see even more growth across the software landscape in 2025.

In other news, Aptean announced the signing of a definitive agreement to purchase Germanedge, a provider of industry-leading software for discrete and process manufacturers from funds managed by Alpina Management GmbH and private shareholders. Continuing on Aptean’s acquisitions strategy, Germanedge will deliver deeper value to discreate and process manufacturers looking to do more on Aptean’s expanding ecosystem.

Finally, Boomi unveiled its comprehensive API Management solution, delivering cloud-scale APIM alongside its integration and automation, data management, and AI capabilities as part of the Boomi Enterprise Platform. Comprised of Boomi’s existing API Management offering along with assets recently acquired from both Cloud Software Group and APIIDA, Boomi API Management enables enterprises to conquer API chaos, power agentic AI, and unleash their business potential. This is a major move for Boomi who is simplifying very complex processes to ensure customers can get the most from their technology stacks.
