Hi and welcome to episode 177 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host, Rebekah McCabe.

To begin the week, Oracle & Microsoft made healthcare-oriented announcements to excel industry innovation.

First, Oracle announced new capabilities in its health system operations suite, including Oracle Health Patient Flow, Oracle Health Clinical Operations Whiteboard, Oracle Health Transfer Center, and Oracle Health Command Center Dashboard, to empower health systems to act quickly and effectively in emergency situations. With enhanced capabilities for mass transfers, bed management, evacuation planning, and more, organizations can align resources and adjust their approach in near real-time to enhance management of rapidly evolving, highly disruptive events.

Then, Microsoft unveiled Microsoft Dragon Copilot, the first AI assistant for clinical workflow that brings together the trusted natural language voice dictation capabilities of DMO with the ambient listening capabilities of DAX, fine-tuned generative AI and healthcare-adapted safeguards. Part of Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare, Dragon Copilot is built on a secure modern architecture that enables organizations to deliver enhanced experiences and outcomes across care settings for providers and patients alike.

ERP giants are investing heavily in the healthcare space, delivering innovate solutions to transform the way they operate and can care for patients.

In other news, Deltek announced innovative updates to Deltek Vantagepoint, its ERP solution for the Architecture and Engineering (A&E) and Consulting industries. For the first time, Vantagepoint users can view and incorporate data from the industry-leading Deltek Clarity Architecture and Engineering Study directly within Vantagepoint dashboards. By providing access to these tools, customers will have greater access to industry data to make more informed business decisions.

Finally, IFS and UKG announced a strategic partnership aimed at delivering integrated solutions to streamline business operations and enhance workforce management. This collaboration will enable organizations to leverage the combined strengths of IFS’s robust ERP capabilities and the UKG Pro suite, providing a seamless experience for managing business processes, human capital including employee demographics, and payroll. By integrating the solutions, customers can streamline processes, improve productivity, and reduce costs.
