This week, two major ERP vendors announced their annual releases.
First, Acumatica announced the general availability of its 2025 R1 product release, delivering industry-specific innovations and AI-driven automation to small and mid-sized businesses across its industry editions: manufacturing, distribution, retail, construction, and professional services. Release highlights include new scheduling views, seamless Shopify integrations, progress pro forma with time & materials details, and much more. Then, Workday announced more than 350 product features and updates across the Workday platform, now available to customers worldwide. Highlights include AI-powered talent rediscovery, data query in Workday AI Gateway, smarter search in Workday Assistant, Workday Services CPQ, and more.
Software vendors are innovating, and customers are benefitting. These releases demonstrate the investments being made across the market to improve customer experience and business efficiency.
In other news, Oracle announced Oracle AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications, a comprehensive platform for creating, extending, deploying, and managing AI agents and agent teams across the enterprise. AI agents are the next evolution of AI in the workplace, making this a crucial step for Oracle to deliver a more seamless experience to customers looking to deploy these tools in their businesses.
Next, NetSuite announced a series of new AI-powered capabilities and product updates across the suite to help organizations in Mexico increase efficiency and take advantage of new opportunities. By leveraging Oracle’s technology, NetSuite has been able to steadily expand globally. These updates pour gasoline on NetSuite’s international strategy and will allow companies in Mexico to take advantage of the Suite.
Finally, Infor and Kinaxis, a global provider of end-to-end supply chain orchestration, announced a new partnership that will deliver improved alignment of supply chain plans with business objectives and strategies for midmarket discrete manufacturing companies. The partnership includes the launch of Kinaxis Planning One for Infor CloudSuite Industrial Enterprise, CloudSuite Automotive, and CloudSuite Aerospace and Defense, which integrated with Infor’s solutions for discrete manufacturers with the advanced supply chain orchestration solutions from Kinaxis and its flagship platform Maestro. Infor continues to build on its industry-specific solutions to deliver value to customers.
