Hi and welcome to Episode 28 of the ERP Minute. I am your host, Rebekah McCabe.

Infor and iCIMS, a talent cloud company, announced a strategic partnership that will deliver next-gen talent capabilities throughout North America to key services industries, including healthcare organizations.

We expect the major ERP vendors who have general functionality to invest heavily in partnerships to extend their HCM capabilities and provide prebuilt integrations that will bring down implementation costs.

In other news, Sage recently announced the availability of Sage Intacct 2022, Release 1, adding new AI capability to further augment digital transformation for CFOs. The latest release provides businesses with artificial intelligence and machine learning tools including automating AP approval process with new scanning and vendor payments capabilities; detecting journal entry outliers for general ledger data entry; and providing deeper visualization of contract data through their interactive customer report writer. This release is due in March 2022.

We continue to see Sage making great enhancements in Intacct that will continue to increase its competitiveness in the market, especially in core Financials.

QAD Precision, a division of QAD Inc., announced its achievement of Veracode Verified Team Status for its Global Trade and Transportation Execution solution.

We expect and recommend to all ERP vendors that they look to similar security verification certifications as we still see cybersecurity attacks being the biggest risks for 2022 for Enterprise Software.

Related, Gartner reports why critical infrastructure attacks are everyone's problem. Gartner details how these recent attacks by nations against other governments are an indicator of how similar attacks will continue in the future for even private businesses.

The warning for all of us continues to be that cybersecurity attacks are real and are happening, but, just like any other threat, can be thwarted with the appropriate planning, which must happen now.
