Hi and welcome to episode 35 of The ERP Minute. I am your host, Rebekah McCabe.
Blackbaud announced yesterday that it has achieved carbon neutrality across its operations and data centers for 2021, and that it will engage with the Taskforce and Climate Financial Disclosure and CDP to ensure transparent sustainability reporting and progress. Blackbaud says that they are focused on reducing their emissions by using energy efficiently and investing in environmental projects for a more sustainable future.
Blackbaud taking these steps is yet another sign that ERP vendors are realizing their responsibility for the environment, especially with so many of their clients moving to datacenters that require similar energy to run.
Last week, Acumatica achieved many different number one rankings in the G2 Spring 2022 reports. They ranked first in Mid-Market ERP Systems, Overall Distribution, Overall Project-Based ERP, Mid-Market Distribution, and Mid-Market Project-Based categories.
Congratulations to Acumatica who continues to get more accolades by actual customers and win more deals in the ERP market.
Recently, OneStream announced strong 2022 Q1 results with achieving 67 percent year-over-year Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) growth in the quarter ending March 31st. In addition, since the beginning of 2022, OneStream has added over 100 employees and is now over 1,100 employees across 18 countries.
OneStream continues to experience substantial growth and we expect that to continue well into 2023. We are interested to see how OneStream leverages this growth with new production innovations they fund as a result of their recent capital injection and revenue growth.
In other news, Salesforce launched CRM Analytics with new innovations that surface IA-powered, actionable insights directly in the flow of work. These technologies help individuals across any industry put data at the center of every customer relationship and ultimately, deliver more personalized experiences.
The addition of CRM analytics capabilities is huge for Salesforce and is a great addition for their customer base. The ability to personalize experience on the front office of sales will help customers be more informed about what they are doing. Customers want visibility and through analytics, customers will have greater access to insights. It is encouraging to see Salesforce investing in analytics tools to improve user-experience.
Finally, Microsoft announced the general availability of Subscription billing for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance at no additional cost to users of Dynamics 365 Finance.
Offering the subscription billing solution is a major step for Microsoft’s ability to retain customers with subscription-based business models that want to stay on their legacy Microsoft platforms, as well as attract similar businesses that want to migrate to low cost billing platforms.
