Gartner's 2021 Magic Quadrant for Cloud ERP for Product-Centric Enterprises is out, with ten ERP providers jockeying for position, a major player joining the fray, and a forecast for growth in the coming months.
Hi and welcome to episode 5 of The ERP Minute. I’m your host Ashley Glasgow.
Gartner released its 2021 Magic Quadrant for Cloud ERP for Product-Centric Enterprises, evaluating ten ERP providers on “ability to execute” and “completeness of vision.”
Infor and Microsoft join Oracle Cloud ERP as leaders in the upper-right segment for the first time, with Gartner applauding Infor for its “support for multiple highly complex manufacturing scenarios and industry-specific capabilities.”
SAP makes its first appearance in this particular cloud quadrant, as the on-prem juggernaut has shifted focus to increasing its cloud customer base.
IFS on the other hand fell off the quadrant this year, as they did not have enough live cloud customers to qualify for inclusion.
We feel Epicor Kinetic is positioned for growth in the next year through its service to midmarket manufacturing and distribution companies, while Acumatica is looking to move from the niche players into the visionaries, based on high customer satisfaction, product quality, and pricing.
We’re out of time for today but tune in next week for episode 6 of The ERP Minute. Thanks for watching!
