While Go-Live might feel like the final destination and end of the project, your ERP journey is far from over. Post Go-Live optimization is crucial to working out the quirks in your system and maximizing on the value your team spent so much time putting in place. Executives must freshly consider the organization’s strategy with the new possibilities available to them with more modern software.

In this episode of The ERP Advisor, hear from Shawn Windle, EAG’s resident ERP expert and advisor to CFOs and financial executives, on developing your roadmap for post go-live optimization to get the most from your ERP.

  • Revisit your business’ strategy and how your original criteria for success are either being met or not being met in your new ERP.
  • Revisit and prioritize future enhancement requests documented during your implementation.
  • Perform new analysis of gaps in processes, identifying opportunities for enhancement with customizations, reports, or best-of-breed bolt-ons.
  • Identify any gaps with technical staff – in-house, support firm, staff augmentation, etc. and determine the best plan to fill based on available resources.
  • Develop a roadmap and budget for new enhancements, as well as a resource plan, which will support the organization’s strategy.
