Should I Migrate from Sage 300 to Intacct?

Whether you're a Sage 300 ERP or Sage 300 CRE customer, you may be disappointed with guidance for your upgrade path to Intacct. Can you delay the decision? It depends on what version of Sage 300 you are on....

Talk to an Expert

Our trusted advisors would say never upgrade unless you absolutely have to. However, Sage only supports the following versions:

  • Sage 300 ERP Version 2023
  • Sage 300 ERP Version 2024
  • Sage 300 ERP Version 2025

OR

  • Sage 300 CRE Version 22
  • Sage 300 CRE Version 23
  • Sage 300 CRE Version 24

Don't see your version on the list?

Even if your version is not on the list, Sage may still be urging you to migrate to Intacct. However, that is not an obvious decision, especially for construction or services companies used to Sage 300 CRE, or manufacturers on the former Accpac. But if you remain on unsupported older versions of Sage 300, you could face:

computer
  • No vendor support for hot fixes.
  • Increased security vulnerabilities.
  • Compliance issues.
  • Lack of scalability.
  • Unstable database prone to crashing.
  • And much more.

There are other software options for Construction, Services, Real Estate and Field companies besides Sage Intacct. Before taking your vendor's advice to switch to Intacct, talk to the experts at ERP Advisors Group to give you market insights about options for your industry, and factors to consider before making the move.

There are also better software options for Sage 300/Accpac companies besides Intacct that you should consider before committing to an "upgrade" which is really a brand new implementation to a totally different product.
